Educational Initiatives
One of ReReeti’s core aims is to make history relevant, relatable, and accessible to young people. We conduct workshops, design educational programmes, and travelling exhibitions, and organise on-site and virtual tours for school students.
Our Latest Offerings:
ReReeti Visits…
ReReeti Visits… is a virtual programme developed in response to the global pandemic, in which many school-going children have missed out on field trips and interactive learning opportunities. These virtual trips are immersive, interactive, and exciting.
All virtual tours are full of interactive activities that allow students to look at history through fresh new lenses and engage their critical thinking through fun and engaging discussions.
If you would like to learn more about them, and book a session for the children in your care, email Garima. Alternatively, check our Instagram page for recent updates.
Entrenched Travelling Exhibition
Our 2018 project “Entrenched” was a portable physical travelling exhibition co-curated by ReReeti and the students of our partner schools. The exhibition focused on the experiences of Indian soldiers who fought in World War I, and simulated a trench creating sensorial experiences with the use of smoke and sounds along with dark narrow spaces. We had 3 partner schools, 80 student co-curators, and visited 15 locations with over 10,000 visitors. Find out more about Entrenched, here.
Family Visits
To make museums interesting for families we organized 2 hour-long experiences at various museums across Bangalore. We facilitated these highly engaging and fun family sessions at State Archaeological museum, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Janapadaloka and HAL Aerospace museum.
